This is a plan for an assembly on Epiphany (when the Wise Men visit Jesus), with the theme of beliefs and differences. The plan is easy to follow and requires no resources, so is perfect for using at the last minute! There is an accompanying PowerPoint that tells the story of Epiphany.
I like leading assemblies that are interactive, engaging and relevant to the children’s lives. This assembly involves the teacher recounting an anecdote which is then linked to the Wise Men visiting Jesus. There is also an example prayer/reflection to finish with.
